The KAT team have had a great time organising the eighth Colchester NSPCC Business Group’s Emerald Ball a glittering, fun filled evening!
The Peter-Pan inspired event held at Wivenhoe House was full of surprises and magic courtesy of Version Events and we had such great sponsors West Property Management, Fisher Jones Greenwood, Fuller Davies, Funky Sweets and Laura Rampton School of Dance to name just a few and we couldn’t be more appreciative of their support.
A wonderful night was had by all whilst raising over £3,000 for the NSPCC. Feedback from one of the guests, Adam Hildred, says it all… “We love the Emerald Ball and have been on numerous years and it always has such fantastic theming and entertainment to such a high level. We always have such a great night out and to know that you are helping to raise monies to give back to the local children – why would we not go every year? The Group is looking for more committee members and I’m thinking about joining for 2016.”
The NSPCC believes every child deserves a childhood and this really resonates with the theme the KAT team chose for the ball. The funds raised were for the NSPCC Schools Service in Colchester and its surrounding areas which raises awareness of what abuse is, different kinds of abuse, how to identify it and how to get help. A very worthy local cause that KAT are delighted to support.
